Who approved this, against which quote, and when. AxleClear enforces the sequence and writes a tamper-evident record of it, so the answer exists before anyone asks.
How it works Engineering evidenceMost fleet maintenance is approved by phone and reconciled by memory. AxleClear makes each step a record, and an invoice that does not reconcile to an approved quote is flagged rather than paid.
Every financial event is written into a SHA-256 hash chain. Each record incorporates the digest of the one before it.
Change or delete any historical record and the chain breaks from that point forward — detectably, and without needing a backup to compare against. This is what makes the system answerable to an auditor rather than merely useful to a fleet manager.
Quotes and job updates arrive over WhatsApp, on the production Meta Cloud API. An independent workshop needs no portal, no licence and no training to take part.
Deployed to Google Cloud africa-south1, Johannesburg. Personal identifiers are hashed at system boundaries and never written to logs.
Spend caps are enforced at approval time, scoped per organisation and per role — not applied as a report after the money has gone.
Containerised, with a dedicated pilot configuration. Deployable to cloud standards compatible with public-sector requirements.
Measured on 8 September 2026 by running the suite, not by counting claims. The full test run completes in 71 seconds and can be run in front of you.
AxleClear is built and tested; it is not yet deployed to a paying customer. The platform was engineered for enterprise-scale fleets, and current development is adapting it for operators running 5–50 vehicles — a mobile-first interface, direct workshop integration and self-service onboarding.
We would rather say that plainly than have you discover it. If you run a fleet and the sequence above describes a problem you have, we would like to talk to you while that work is being done.
